Alexa Teta

Hello! My name is Alexa Teta aka AMT.
As a kid, I was passionate about video games, especially Nintendo titles. I loved not only playing, but also watching others experience games and seeing their reactions. Now, I'm excited to create video games that bring smiles to people's faces!I am currently enrolled at Long Island University Post attaining a B.F.A in Digital Game Design and Development.
My primary focus and passion lies in the art side, allowing me to channel my creativity into bringing the games I design to life.I have a diverse skill set, with experience in various programming languages, primarily Unity (C#). I've also worked with RPG Maker MV and Game Maker Language. In addition to programming, I create pixel art as well as physical and digital artwork.Before enrolling at LIU Post, I attended Nassau BOCES Barry Technical School in Westbury, New York, where I earned a Career Development and Occupational Studies (CDOS) credential in Computer Game Design, all while completing my Regents Diploma in high school.Design and Programming Skills. While enrolled in the Barry Technical Program, I was selected by my teacher to represent my school for their yearly annual Skills USA competition in Game Design.
My fellow class partner and I won the competition against four other boces schools competing for the game design title.I am also part of the Esports and Game Design (EGD) Collective at City College of New York (CCNY). Here, I learn network abilities, taking the initiative, and collaborate with fellow students to create games within tight deadlines. Additionally, I have worked seasonally at the Game Builders Academy (GBA) Summer Camp in Hofstra University, where I played a key role in assisting future video game designers.
